Each piece in The Excavation Series is handcrafted by Sonya Barbee of YardGirl Creations from scraps of original artwork, embedded in resin alongside chunky metallic glass fragments and iridescent beads in a tiny collage. Unlike The Capsule Series, there’s no glass dome. These are open resin — textured, dimensional, and tactile. Each one feels as interesting as it looks.
The result is wearable art that sits somewhere between jewelry and sculpture — bold, colorful, and utterly one of a kind.
