We all wear a mask.

Paul Laurence Dunbar's poem "We Wear the Mask" captured the truth that Black people have carried for centuries. These handcrafted wood earrings honor both that literary legacy and the ancient African tradition of mask-making — where masks held the power of ancestors, marked rites of passage, and connected the living to the spiritual world.

Each pair is an original, one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art, laser-cut from wood and finished by hand. The bold geometric silhouette references traditional African mask forms while the open negative space gives each piece a modern, sculptural quality. Available in three colorways — matte black, gold, and natural wood. Although machine cut, the design was altered slightly for each small run making them limited edition pieces.

Wear your history. Honor your ancestors.
